The Austin Cup international tournament in Vsetín once again offered top level Futnet. From 15 Czech and 9 international teams, Modřice proved the best quality and won both gold and silver medals.
Our Youtube channel called Futnet TV will from now on broadcast videos from our sport to the whole world. We picked top matches from last year’s most important events and more videos are coming.
As agreed during the last congress in Nymburk, EFTA will focus on important development projects. These include not only international camps for youth and adults, but also preparation of literature and videos for coaches.
World Championships 2012This year the World Championships are coming back to the country which gave this sport to the world almost a century ago and where these events are eagerly awaited by thousands of fans as the highlights of the year.
Women’s and Juniors World Championships – 3 and 4 November – Brno
Men’s World Championships – 7, 8 and 9 December – Nymburk

In 2011, historic first European Futnet Championships organised under EFTA auspices took place:
Women and Juniors – 4 and 5 June in Vitoria, Basque Country (Spain)
Men – 7 and 8 October in Corte, Corsica (France)
