Opinions of EC participants
1st EFTA Men’s European Championship that took place on 7 and 8 October in Corte, Corsica, was definitely a historic event for our European association. But what did it mean for its participants? What impressions did they go away with? Here are the opinions of some of those who took part – in various roles – in this championship.

Second day of Men’s European Championship, with a very busy schedule featuring group matches in the triple and semifinals and finals in all disciplines, brought a great joy and success to one participating country.
European Championship Day 1
1st Futnet European Championship is taking place in the French town of Corte in Corsica where the best European teams have gathered to share their passion of futnet and compete for the historically first titles under the auspices of the European Futnet Association.
Statement by President of Corsican Executive Council
A couple of weeks before the opening of the championship, the President of the Corsican Executive Council Paul Giacobbi has issued a statement on the event, emphasising the importance of organising a European competition in Corsica as well as the growing interest in futnet in the region.

Today we are going to present you the two sports halls where the championship will take place as well as the hotel where the delegations will be staying.
Groups known after drawing of lots
The drawing of lots for the group stage of the championship has taken place today in Ajaccio, in the seat of the main partner of the event Collectivité Territoriale de Corse (CTC).
Schedule and teams
The schedule of the championship has been released. On Friday, 7 October, the group matches of singles and doubles will take place before the evening exhibition and opening ceremony.
