1st EFTA Men’s European Championship that took place on 7 and 8 October in Corte, Corsica, was definitely a historic event for our European association. But what did it mean for its participants? Second day of Men’s European Championship, with a very busy schedule featuring group matches in the triple and semifinals and finals in all disciplines, brought a great joy and success to one participating country.

1st Futnet European Championship is taking place in the French town of Corte in Corsica where the best European teams have gathered to share their passion of futnet and compete for the historically first titles under the auspices of the European Futnet Association.

A couple of weeks before the opening of the championship, the President of the Corsican Executive Council Paul Giacobbi has issued a statement on the event, emphasising the importance of organising a European competition in Corsica as well as the growing interest in futnet in the region.

The drawing of lots for the group stage of the championship has taken place today in Ajaccio, in the seat of the main partner of the event Collectivité Territoriale de Corse (CTC).
