Men’s European Championship – Corsica 2011

On 7 and 8 October 2011, the town of Corte in the French island of Corsica hosted 1st Men’s Futnet European Championship under the auspices of European Futnet Association (EFTA), organised by the French Futnet Federation. Press conference and drawing of lots

On Wednesday 14 September at 14.30 a press conference dedicated to the European championship and the drawing of lots for the group stage of the championship will take place in Ajaccio.

Successful EC promotion in Ajaccio

Last night’s friendly football match in Michel Moretti Challenge between AC Ajaccio and SC Bastia brought victory to the Bastia side and a futnet demonstration promoting the European Championship in the half-time.

As a part of promotion of the European Championship in Corte, a futnet exhibition is scheduled tonight in the half-time of the friendly football match in Michel Moretti Challenge between AC Ajaccio and SC Bastia in the Ajaccio’s François Coty Stadium.

Ten countries have confirmed their participation in the European championship: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine. For some countries it will be their first official international championship and EFTA is very pleased that futnet is growing in popularity also outside the traditional futnet strongholds.

1st Men’s European Championship under EFTA

One of the highlights of this year will be the 1st European Championship for Men which will be organised under EFTA’s auspices in Corte, Corsica (France) on 7 and 8 October by French Futnet Federation.
