European Cup of Club Champions

EFTA European Cup of Club Champions is taking place on 19 May in Corte in the French island of Corsica with the participation of club champions of the top European national leagues. As the winners of their national leagues in 2010/2011 season, the teams of Modrice (Czech Republic), Kosice (Slovakia), Groley (Switzerland) and Venaco (France) will compete for EFTA European Cup of Club Champions.

3rd International Futnet Camp

3rd Youth and Women’s International Futnet Camp will be held on 23 – 28 July in Chabarovice, Czech Republic, providing an opportunity for the development of existing futnet skills of children and women under the supervision and guidance of experienced futnet coaches and instructors.

Tri Nations Cup

Saturday 24th March saw the first ever Home Nations futnet championship take place in London, hosted by the Welsh futnet association and competed by England, Wales and Ireland. The tournament was two bounce, and doubles and triples disciplines were played.

National Team Cup in France

On Sunday, 18 March, the final of French National Team Cup was held between the clubs of Emerainville and Olonne sur Mer. In this competition,  each team meets another in a match that consists of four submatches: 1 single, 2 doubles,  1 triple.

Austin Cup on 31 March

Updated on 02/04/2012. All futnet fans are cordially invited on 31 March to the town of Vsetin (in Moravia, the eastern region of the Czech Republic) to Austin Cup that has been held on annual basis since 2002. The event organised by the futnet club of Vsetín and Inventis Agency brings together the best Czech and international players and their clubs who will compete for the attractive prize money of at least 3000 EUR!

Great futnet weekend

The weekend of 10 and 11 March was rich in futnet events in various countries: 2nd edition of futnet league started in the Basque Country, coaching course was held in England, Northern Ireland League continued with 6th round in Belfast and referees hopefuls had their session in Turkey. Let’s have a closer look at these events all of which have a great significance in the development of futnet in new countries.

President’s Cup in Nymburk

A real treat is awaiting all futnet fans already in ten days! On 25 February, the venue of the next Men’s World Championship, the Nymburk Sports Centre, will witness the best six nations in the world playing it out in the “President´s Cup”.

Coaching course and league in Belfast

On 4 and 5 February EFTA Level 1 Futnet Coaching Course was held in Belfast, complemented by 5th round of Northern Ireland Futnet League. EFTA was represented by its General Secretary Ms Zuzana Vinanska and the member of Technical Committee Mr Jan Vanke.
