On Tuesday the camp became even more international with the arrival of Denis Vilenkin, President of Ukrainian Futnet Association, who did not mind a 24-hour journey by bus from Kiev to come to attend the seminar for futnet coaches and spend a few days among futnet friends.

2nd International Futnet Camp for Women and Children is over, but it will definitely stay in the hearts and minds of all the participants for a long time. For some of them it was their second time in Chabařovice, others were newcomers, but their faces revealed that they all equally enjoyed themselves.

Oldest international tournament

On 23 July 2011 the oldest international tournament in Czech Republic and probably also the oldest international futnet tournament in the world celebrates its 50th birthday.

Šacung OMV International Tournament started in 1962 and is nowadays open to players from Czech leagues and abroad.

Futnet Camp Schedule

2nd International Futnet Camp for Pupils and Women, organised by Czech Futnet Association, EFTA member, in cooperation with sports club TJ Slovan Chabařovice (CZ), takes place between 1 and 6 August 2011 in Chabařovice, Czech Republic. This year the organisers have the pleasure to welcome children and women from 6 countries and 3 continents – Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Hungary, India, USA.

Futnet tournament in Lokeren

The organisers of the biggest futnet tournament in Belgium, Flanders Tennis-Foot Cup in Lokeren, which celebrated its 6th edition in June this year, have sent us this report which proves the event was a great success among the participants.

England’s preparation for EC

Futnet in Basque Country

The second article about Basque Country brings an interview with Mr Juan José Bernal, president of Basque Futnet Association (AVAFUT), made before the European Championship for women and juniors which took place on 4 and 5 June in Vitoria. Juanjo – as the name of Juan José is commonly abbreviated in Spain – is the key person in Basque futnet and it is thanks to his commitment and hard work that futnet has progressed so quickly in the Basque Country.
