Successful EC of women and juniors

1st European Futnet Championship for women and juniors was concluded on Sunday evening in the Basque capital of Vitoria. This great sporting event offered an opportunity to see not just excellent futnet performances but also friendship and fair-play behaviour among the players.

3rd and 4th EC newsletters released

Third and fourth newsletters promoting the European Championship for women and juniors in Vitoria, prepared by EFTA in cooperation with the Spanish communication company Óbice Comunicación, have been released.

Non-participation of Ukraine in EC

We regret to inform the futnet public that, unfortunately, due to visa problems the women’s  team of Ukraine will not be able to participate in the European Championship for women and juniors on 4 and 5 June in Vitoria.

Promotion of EC in Vitoria

Those who would like to know more about the European Championship for women and juniors that will take place in less than two weeks in Vitoria can do so at the webpage dedicated to the championship. The website, available in English and Spanish, offers the essentials of the championship such as the schedule, location of the venue, contact details, etc. as well as interesting information and photos of the members of the participating teams.

Final Tournament of Czech Open

The last tournament of international series Tipgames Czech Open 2011 titled Veľká cena Košíc (Košice Grand Prix) took place on 7 May in Košice (Slovakia) with the participation of 12 triples – 5 from Czech Republic, 2 from Hungary and 5 from Slovakia.

1st Men’s European Championship under EFTA

One of the highlights of this year will be the 1st European Championship for Men which will be organised under EFTA’s auspices in Corte, Corsica (France) on 7 and 8 October by French Futnet Federation.

Schedule of European Championship

The highlight of this season for women and juniors is less than a month away. In Vitoria, best European players in these two categories will compete for gold, silver and bronze in all three futnet disciplines. The schedule of the two-day competition has been released. On Saturday, 4 June, there will be group matches in both categories, preceded by an introduction to futnet for referees from new countries. The opening ceremony will take place in the evening and be attended by important political personalities from Vitoria and Álava province.
