As of 1 March 2011 the position of the General Secretary of European Futnet Association (EFTA) has been taken up by Ms Zuzana Viňanská from Slovak Futnet Association. The vote in EFTA Executive Committee which approved Ms Viňanská’s nomination took place in January and the decision will be validated at next general congress due in October 2011 in Corsica.
Ms Viňanská is the Head of International Relations Committee of Slovak Futnet Association as well as a member of Executive Committee of Union Internationale de Futnet (UNIF). Coming from a futnet family and being a former player herself, having participated in numerous competitions, including 1st Women’s World Championship in 2000, Ms Viňanská knows very well the situation in Slovak as well as international futnet and in close cooperation with EFTA Executive Committee will try to boost the promotion and development of futnet on the European continent.
After getting the position of General Secretary, Slovakia renounced on its seat in EFTA Executive Committee and was replaced by Ukraine, namely Mr Denys Vilienkin.
