29 November 2011 – this is the date of the first training of the Ukrainian School of Futnet that has recently opened to all children interested in our sport in one of the secondary schools in Kiev.
For the time being, there are 14 children aged 9 and 10 who will train twice a week under the supervision of some of the members of the Ukrainian Futnet Association. Young futnet players are mostly the pupils of this school. The Ukrainian Futnet Association will make an effort to organize the same classes also in other cities all around the country.
Denys Vilienkin, President of Ukrainian Futnet Association:
“Coaching resources are still scarce in Ukraine, but we can provide special methodological guidelines for everyone interested in youth futnet training. It could be helpful, above all, for university and school teachers of physical education and football coaches. We can also provide masterclasses at the local level.”
Congratulations to our Ukrainian friends on the new venture and keep up the good work! We are looking forward to hearing more about the first school of this kind in Ukraine!
